May you find comfort knowing how much your mother loved you and was herself loved by so many. As a dedicated educator and librarian, she touched hundreds of children and truly made a difference. I know you have wonderful memories of your mother as so many of us do.

Dear Diane and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, Mrs. Crawley. She was a wonderful person. She always had such a bright smile when I saw her in the library at Marshall Elementary. Her willingness to help me locate anything I needed was always appreciated. She helped each day be a good one for me. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you and your family deal with this loss. Nancy S. Dunn

Dear Dianne and family,
Your mother was so very sweet to me when I began my teaching career at Denbigh Elementary. She was so kind and helpful to everyone. The children loved her and she was radiant when she introduced literature to her students and shared them with her staff. She had a gentle touch in everything she did. I will pray for your family to have the strength to get through the days and weeks ahead. I know your family will celebrate with thanksgiving her life and all that she gave to the world.
Sincerely,
Jeanette Dail

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Aunt Lillian will be sorely missed. Kharrie and our have enjoyed the pop calls and the long hours of just laughing, talking and sharing over the years. It is not ever day you find good people like Aunt Lillian who supported, encouraged and believe in you. This meant so much to us.But we know she will watch over us and she will always be with us in spirit.

Lillian and Bennie were our good neighbors for many years, and LIllian stayed here for a while after her husband's death. Our children were great friends with Brian and Greg; and especially Diane who our girls, Sheryl and Christina played with. We hadn't seen her in quite a while, but she was a wonderful lady and a good mother. She will be missed. To her children; we extend our deepest sympathies. Sally and George Baisley
