Linwood HOLLEY Obituary

HAMPTON - Linwood "Buck" Holley Sr., 69, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood and Lottie Holley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Holley; seven children, Linwood Holley II, Linwood Holley III, Shirley Holley, Russell Perry, Evangeline Holley, Keith Demsey and George Holley; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mildred Horton of Brooklyn, New York, Lula, Ella and Joyce Holley of Middletown, Conn.; two brothers, Richard and George L. Holley of Newport News, Va., and many loving nieces, nephews and others relatives and friends.
Linwood retired from Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock, Co. in 1994 after 40 years of service. Viewing will be held today from noon to 7 p.m. at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at Emmanuel Chapel Church of Christ (Holiness) USA, 200 Hampton Roads Avenue, Hampton, Va.
