Dear Family of Lola Brookins,
I attended bible study (BSF). Lola was in my group. She had a beautiful sense of humor. I knew that she was a true Christian from the way she answered questions. She looked so sassy in her hats. My husband, Rudolph, worked with her at the Va Hsp. He also expressed how he enjoyed her sense of humor. He said that he remembered calling her by the name of Maxie. I was very surprised to read her obituary and very happy to know that she is in heaven with our Lord Jesus.

It has been such a shock to hear this sad news. We all know this day would come sooner or later but it is of course too soon. The memories we share as kids, the holidays, the candy on the table and the help your mom was always ready to give, will never be forgotten. She may not walk on this earth but she will always walk in our hearts. My deepest sympathy to you and your families.
