Louis HAGMAIER Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Louis Charles Hagmaier Jr. of Williamsburg, Va., was born Jan. 20, 1940. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 23, 2010, Louis Charles Hagmaier Jr. went to Heaven to be with his Heavenly Father to experience all the Joy and Peace that have been promised to him and to all those who believe in the name of Jesus.
He is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Phyllis Jean Hagmaier; children, Craig and his wife, Silvia of Oradell, N.J., Todd of Everett, Pa., Aaron of Harrisonburg, Va., Angel of Galveston, Texas, and Jill of Harrisonburg, Va.; four grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Jaclyn, Naomi, Candice and Owen; and great-granddaughters, Lorelai, Madelyn and Serenity.
He was born on Jan. 20, 1940, to Louis and Doris Hagmaier. He spent most of his life doing what he loved most; farming in Everett, Pa. He made Williamsburg, Va., his home since 1983. He retired a few years ago after many years of service from the Bookpress Ltd. Easily recognizable by his trademark look of his glasses on his forehead with his very unique sense of humor and warmth, his departure will be experienced by many. However, he would have you not grieve or mourn him. He was ready for an eternity in Heaven. It is our loss but Heaven's gain. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 3 p.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ of Friends Cove, 6701 Main Road, Bedford, PA 15522. A viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the same location. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
