Louise MOORE Obituary

HAMPTON - Louise Brown Moore, 88, passed away on Saturday, May 1. 2010 in Hampton.
She was born in Ware Neck, Va., to the late Elwood T. and Lillian Hogge Brown and was the widow of Robert Willard Moore.
She was an active member of Parkview United Methodist Church, in Hampton, for over 60 years. In her final years, Louise faced many challenges, but her contentment and faith in the Lord never wavered. She was an inspiration to all who crossed her path. Louise loved her family and will be greatly missed.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nora Lee Lasher; and her sisters, Mary A. Leonard and Edith B. Hayes.
She is survived by her son, Robert W. Moore Jr. and his wife, Patty of Newport News; her son-in-law, Robert Lee Lasher Sr. and his wife, Laurie of Hampton; her grandchildren, Dawn Brown and her husband, Jeff, Theresa Bondurant and her husband, Trent, and Lee Lasher Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Abigail, Allison, and Benjamin Brown, Isaac and Luke Bondurant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Parkview United Methodist Church by the Rev. Daniel Elmore. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, in Singleton United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Schley.
The family ask that memorial donations be made to Parkview United Methodist Church in Hampton.
