Charles and I are so very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was such a sweet lady. My kids use to love to drive by and see her flowers in the spring and of course her Easter egg tree. God just needed another Angel in heaven! Time will heal your pain and remember, she is in a much better place now and we will all be there some day.

I did not know Lucy Watkins, but I did work with her son, Milton, for many years at VDOT. He is an outstanding gentleman and worker and devoted to his mother. If the children are a measure of the parents, then Mrs. Watkins was a fine person indeed.

I would just like to send my condolences to the family. There are no words which can make it easier to accept or deal with, however, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Blessings and Christ's love, Thad
