Lynn FLOOD Obituary
She was born Dec. 5, 1951, in Waltham, Mass. Lynn graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a master's degree from the College of William and Mary. She worked for many years as a counselor at Bacon Street, a family focused provider for families with troubled teens with substance abuse issues in Williamsburg, Va. Lynn loved international travel, gardening, and cats.
She is loved and survived by her husband of 34 years, Dick. She is also survived by her brother, Tim Catha, of Marriotsville, Md.; her brother, Bruce Catha, of Seattle, Wash.; and her niece and nephew, Apple and Morgan Catha, also from Seattle.
The family will receive friends at an informal gathering at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg.

We are heartbroken at the passing of our daughter-in-law. We always enjoyed her company, and her gardening skills are on full display in our yard, as the flowers she planted are in remarkable bloom this spring. Our deepest condolences to Lynn's family as well as to our son, Dick.

All of us at Bacon Street have heavy hearts on learning of Lynn's passing. She brightened the lives of thousands of kids during her years with us, and was a generous, and caring friend. My condolences to Dick, and her family.
