Malean Futrell Obituary
She is survived by three daughters,: Angel Jones, Darlene Lewis Field, and Tonya Hardy; three sons, Terry Futrell, Curtis Futrell, all of Hampton, and Bishop Olivet Brown of Newport News.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Church of Jesus, 630 Anderson Lane, Hampton. Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Gloucester Fields Cemetery, Gloucester.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my sister in Christ, Prophetess Malean Futrell. We had many joyful days together discussing the Christian Walk. My love to the children, I will keep you in my prayers.

was like a mother to me, I would always say she is my godmother from her disciplining me to doing my hair,To her children I say to you we all know that god knows what is best,we were all raised in church together,I also say to you may god continue to bring you comfort and peace in knowing that your mother will be OK because she endured until the end.May god continue to be with you all.
