Margaret WALTRIP Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Margaret Hicks Waltrip, 91, passed away peacefully after a brief illness with cancer on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Calvin Waltrip. She is survived by two sons, Daniel Waltrip and his wife, Judy, and Michael Waltrip and his wife, Judy, both of Williamsburg; five grandchildren, Nikki Miller of Charlotte, N.C., Crystal Schoneman and her husband, Bob of Grand Prairie, Texas, Nolon Waltrip of Williamsburg, Brenda Goins and her husband, Gene of Barhamsville, Va., and Troy West and his wife, Ruth of Williamsburg; five great-grandchildren, Holden Miller, Savannah Goins, Tucker Goins, Braydon West, and Trevor West; as well as a sister, Dorothy Jordan, of Lanexa, Va.
Services were held on Monday.

I will always remember the fun us kids had at Uncle Calvin and Aunt Margarets house when we were growing up. Aunt Margaret will be truely missed. Sending my love and prayers to you Michael and Danny as well as your families at this time of sorrow.
