I learned of Marge's passing when a former co-worker from the York Co. Title IV-C program forwarded the obituary to me. I have such wonderful memories of Marge--always with a smile and a kind word and a positive outlook. I am so grateful that I was able to share a warm conversation with her at our get-together last summer. I will always remember her cheerful soft voice. It was a pleasure to have known her, and I am sorry for your loss.

I have missed Marjorie's smile and friendly wave as we drive past her house in Grafton. She made me feel like we were old friends. Marjorie and I took swimming lessons together and had so much fun. She was both a supportive classmate as well as an inspiration to everyone as we took to the water. I am saddened to learn of her passing and send condolences to her family. God be with you during this time.

Scott, Carl, Barry and Joyce. We haven't kept in touch much, but I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. Jay Barbee actually informed me of your mother's passing and I found this guestbook to contribute to. Again, my sympathies!

It was my priviledge to have known Marge both in Yorktown Woman's Club and in playing bridge. She was such a sweet and caring person. She always smiled; I never saw her frown. She was very proud of her children. May you be comforted by happy memories of past times you shared together. Elvin who worked with her in the School Board Office, and I send you our sincere sympathy for your loss.

My very first job in life, many years ago, was in the York County School Board Office space on Ballard Street. I remember Marge as being so kind, helpful and especially welcoming to a young person just starting out in life. I always remember her with a smile thinking of how she made my first job just a little bit easier. My prayers are with her family.

Marge, as I knew her so many years ago when we shared office space in the basement of the school board office on Ballard Street, was so kind and considerate of everyone on our Title IV-C team. I am grateful that I was able to have a meaningful conversation with her at the latest Title-IV-C gathering in Yorktown. She will always have a special place in my heart. I send my deepest sympathy to her beloved family. She was so proud of all of you.

I remember Marjorie with such fondness. She was a very classy lady and always dressed so beautifully. She was the first person I met when I started attending Providence UMC and we became friends from than on. I missed her when she moved to VB and will miss her even more now.
My condolences to her family. You will be in my prayers.
