Mary Bowers Obituary

HAMPTON - Mary Cummings Bowers, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.
She was born March 29, 1915, in Nanicoke, Pa. She was a homemaker and a resident of Buckroe for 54 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Albert B. Bowers and his wife, Rujin; daughter, Betty Jean Weber and her husband, James L. Weber Sr.; grandchildren, Lunita A. Weber, Janet Webster and her husband, Larry; great-grandchildren, Heather, Jonathan, Timothy, Alexander, and James; sister, Mrs. Barbara Berch of South Carolina; and sister-in-law, Lunita Ford of Livingston, Mont.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Bartley Bowers; and grandson, James L. Weber Jr.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Hampton National Cemetery.

Grandma will be remeembered by those lucky enough to know her for her sense of humor, love of travel, and her livily interest in all around her. She will be dearly missed.
