Michael UNDERWOOD Obituary
Michael was a native of Newport News, Va. He was the sixth child of eight siblings. He attended the Newport News Public Schools. He was employed with Daisy's Cleaning Service until his health failed.
Treasured memories will remain with his devoted father, Roosevelt C. Underwood; his loving siblings, Cynthia Underwood, Debra Byrd, Roosevelt Underwood, James A. Underwood, Thomas S. Underwood, Jimmy L. Underwood and Roosevelt Byrd; aunts, Earline Hunter, Miruth Otirs; uncle, Ernest Underwood; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his mother, Michael is now rejoined with his siblings, Geneva U. Pyrear and Tina Alston. May you all rest in peace and have a blessed reunion!
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2010, at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Underwood may be viewed today, Sunday, May 2, 2010, at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment will follow the service Monday at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
