Michael JACKSON Obituary
He passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack in his home. Michael (or Mikey, as he was affectionately known to many) was born in Lubbock, Texas, on Jan. 9, 1965, to Bobby and Dianne Jackson. After graduating from Sharpstown High School in Houston in 1983, Michael joined the U.S. Navy to see the world and become a man. Michael enjoyed a long career in the Navy and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. As his rank increased, he often spoke of how he enjoyed mentoring the young "doe-eyed" new recruits, many of whom had never lived away from home. After serving 24 years and attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer, Michael retired in 2007.
Michael is survived by parents, Bobby and Dianne Jackson, of Cache, Okla.; twin sister, Cheryl Jackson, of Santa Fe, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Joe Eubanks, of The Woodlands, Texas; uncle, Webster R. Stone, of Billings, Mont.; and favorite niece, Katie Eubanks, "Miss Katherine," of The Woodlands, Texas.

Mikey was a terrific friend to me while we were stationed together at MARMC in Norfolk from 2004 to 2006. We were on the same maintenance team and he kept me laughing all the time. I will miss him greatly and I want to express my sincerest condolences to his family. I will miss you Brother.
