Muriel PERKINS Obituary

HAMPTON - Muriel L. Perkins, 92, died on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Hampton. Muriel was a 1934 graduate of George Phenix High School and was a 60 year plus member of Queen Street Baptist Church and a member of the United Order of Tents, Silver Queen # 52.
Preceded in death by her son, Earl L. Files, she is survived by nephews, Andrew M. Perkins Jr., Ronald C. Perkins Sr., and Phillip Perkins; and a niece, Carolyn Y. Perkins.
Viewing will be from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be conducted noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at Hampton Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Anderson W. Clary Jr.
