Myrtle Belvin Obituary

GLOUCESTER POINT - Myrtle Louise Belvin, age 80, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.
Myrtle was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a wonderful cook, known especially for her homemade biscuits. She enjoyed gospel music and western movies.
Her husband, Malvin Thomas Belvin Sr., and two sons, Roger Belvin and Malvin Thomas Belvin Jr., preceded her in death.
She is survived by five children, Billy Wayne Belvin, Linda Adams, Robert G. Belvin Sr., Timothy R. Belvin, and Gladys Thomas; two sisters, Rose Lee Brown and Shirley Harles; brother, John Henry Davis; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Gloucester Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
