Myrtle REXRODE Obituary

HAYES - Myrtle M. Rexrode, 85, died Nov. 18, 2010 at Walter Reed Convalescent Center.
Myrtle was a Peninsula native and had attended Mary Washington College. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Myrtle enjoyed needlework and taking care of her home. Her exceptionally kind heart and loving nature had been an inspiration to everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hulda Myers; and husband, Kenny Rexrode.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Kay Rexrode; cousins and other family members.
A graveside service, officiated by the Rev. Thad Decker, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Peninsula Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 185, Bena, VA 23018.
