In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

For the family of Nelson A. Lewis, Jr.

For all of us who loved Nelson so dearly, he will be missed greatly. We will keep a candle lit in our hearts to celebrate his remembrance forever. He had a heart so big and was such a talented person and brought many magical moments to those who were around him. The artwork that Mr. Lewis displayed is such a masterpiece and expressed his inner thoughts to life and the unfortunate. May we all remember him for the good things he did. His life was short lived but will never be forgotten. Mr. Lewis was a like a brother and family to many of us and there is much appreciation and respect for who he was. Even in his final moments he continued to be funny and in good spirits. Mr. Lewis took the time to thank everyone for being his friend and keeping him encouraged.

Our thoughts & prayers are with the family and friends. Nelson "rest in peace" and know that you were loved by many.

Sincerely,
Brenda, Michelle, and Sharon

For Aunt Carol,Uncle Nelson and Patty
And to all of Nelson's special friends who stood by Nelson in his time of need.
Nelson was a special person to so many people. He was funny, talented and a great friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his Aunt Alice who just doted on him. I and my wife Chrissie and I will miss Nelson for his humor and fighting over my Mother's raisin cookies!
God took a very special person away to serve with in Heaven with his generosity and humor.
God Bless Nelson, and Thank you God for having given us all the opportunity to know such a great man.
Love, Mike and Chrissie Warren
