Orin LADLEE Obituary
He was a former employee of Ladlee's Golf Cars in Henrico, N.C., and had worked as an auto technician at Copeland Toyota, Hampton, for 25 years. He was a member of Williamsburg Masonic Lodge No. 6 AF&AM, Pocahontas Chapter 103, O.E.S. and the Harley Davidson Owners Group.
He was preceded in death his brother, Edwin Ladlee; and sisters, Dorothy Mahoney, Jean Kilby and Linda McCool.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gail Ladlee; his children, Patricia Cook of Newport News, Denise McDowell of Roswell, N.M., Michael Ladlee and Elizabeth Morse, both of Newport News; eight grandchildren; and his brother, Richard Ladlee of Henrico, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at the Weymouth Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Lung Association, 5439 E. Princess Anne Rd., Norfolk, VA 23502. Arrangements are by Weymouth Funeral Home, 12746 Nettles Drive, NN, VA View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

I am saddened by OW's passing. I worked with OW at Copeland Toyota many years ago. He was always sweet and kind and had many wonderful things to say about his you!!!! Hello Gail, Patty, Denise, Mike and Beth. I was so sorry to hear about OW. I had been thinking about him a lot lately. He along with the rest of you were a second family to me for many years. He was a great advisor for our DeMolay chapter and was a father figure for a lot of young men who needed that. I find myself 30 years later in the same position as a DeMolay advisor hoping that I can have the same impact on someone's life like OW had on all of us. We were all blessed to have known him and have him in our lives. Although he is with God now He will always be in my heart.

i am so sorry to hear of ow's passing. i worked with him at Copeland Toyota years ago he was always funny and a good hearted person. he had a way to always make you laugh. i am sure many people at Copeland Toyota remember his personality and caring of people. he was a special person. RIP OW

OW was a good friend of my dad. Even though they did not see each other very often after he moved to NC, OW was often thought of by the family. They had some good times together. OW will be missed greatly. I send my love and prayers to his family.
