Patricia A. CASON

WILLIAMSBURG - Pat died peacefully at home on Monday, March 5, 2012, with family, friends and her beloved dogs at her side.
Born Aug. 30, 1943, in Harrisburg, Pa., she attended school in Miami, Fla., and Denver, Colo., was a 1961 graduate of Walsingham Academy and attended college at Radford University.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George J. Wise and Irene B. Wise, and is survived by her daughters, Debi Cason and Sharon Schreiner, and her husband, Chris; and granddaughter Rowan Schreiner.
Pat was co-owner of Procom, Inc., for more than 25 years. She was an active volunteer at Walsingham Academy for many years, a lifetime bowler, and avid sheltie and collie rescue foster mom. She leaves behind to cherish her memory many close friends, Tiny, JoAnna, Joanie, Chris, Betty and Norma and many others who have been so wonderful to her.
The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Va., on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a small service held at 6:30 p.m. Further services and burial will be held at Hardage-Giddens/Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
The family is very grateful for all of the support of Sentara Home Health and Hospice Care, Dr. Mark Chisam, Dr. Alan Thornton, Dr. John Miller, and Ms. Chris Towne.
