Priscilla HARRISON Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Priscilla Harrison, 90, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger; daughter, Susan; and brother, Hall Deakyne.
Patty was born and raised in Milford, Del. After graduating high school, as a valedictorian, she moved to Washington D.C., where she worked for a congressman during World War II, and met her husband, Rodger. She and Rodger lived on Long Island for 30 years, retiring in Chestertown, Md., before coming to Williamsburg. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, shopping, and tending to her family, especially her loving granddaughters. She loved spending time at the beach. Summers at her beach home and vacationing in Bermuda with those granddaughters was a special memory for her.
She was a devoted mother, and is survived by her loving son, David and his wife, Lynne; grandchildren, Kathleen Uszak and her husband, Russell, and Whitney Perelli and her husband, Todd; great-grandchildren, Natasha, Ruby, Harrison, Cora, and Gabe; and many extended family members.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 7579 Sandy Bottom Rd., Chestertown, MD.
