Ramona DJUBEK Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and husband of 44 years, Daniel Djubek.
Ramona was born in Wisconsin and attended high school in Cleveland, Ohio. She obtained her AA from Thomas Nelson Community College. Ramona will be best remembered for her incredible talent as an artist and designer. Ramona and her husband renovated several houses on the Peninsula using her artistic talent and his construction know how. They made a great team. She also loved music and was proud of her extensive and eclectic record collection.
Ramona is survived by her daughters, Terri Harmon (David) of Yorktown, Christy Smith (Craig) of Newport News; and son, Thomas Djubek of Yorktown. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Leslie Cumbow (Joshua), Kyle Smith and Laura Harmon.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the caring staff at Mary Immaculate Hospital for making Ramona's last days as comfortable as possible.
The family will receive friends at Amory Funeral Home, 410 Grafton Drive, Grafton, Va., on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A memorial service is planned for a future date.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Ramona was a special lady, we loved to listen to oldies while she was at the Arbors and she always looked forward to critiquing my husbands art! She will be missed.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. When we all were friends in Village Green years ago, Ramona did a charcoal portrait of Liz, Dave and Rich. It still hangs on the wall in our home.
