Richard Engle Obituary
He was the owner of Engle Plumbing, Heating & Air Inc. for the Peninsula & Northern neck area since 2003.
Rick was a member of the Wicomico Hunt Club. He was a former commercial fisherman for ten years. He enjoyed being outdoors and sitting on the back porch on his glider. He was the oldest of five brothers, and was considered "an awesome big brother". Rick had four loves in his life: his family, the outdoors, the Dallas Cowboys, and sweet tea. He will be loved and cherished for a lifetime.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Kathy "Lynn" H. Engle; his son, Bryan Eugene Engle; his two daughters, Jennifer Darlene Engle and Jessica Lynn Engle; two grandchildren, Kloe-Elyzabeth Cunningham and Airen Michael Huskins; father, Richard E. Engle Sr.; mother, Darlene M. and stepfather, George C. Pauls; four brothers, William W. "Wesley" Engle and wife, Sondra, Robert E. Engle and wife, Tara, Bubby Pauls and wife, Jackie, and Chris A. Pauls and Sherry Simpson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson by Pastor Richard Croxton. At other times the family will be gathered at 122 Forrest Road, Poquoson. Inurnment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society - For Hodgkin's Lymphoma Research in "Honor of Rick Engle, Jr.", P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.

Rob, we just found out yesterday about Rick's passing. Words can't describe how sorry we are to know that you have lost your brother and your best friend. Rick will be sadly missed among all who knew him. Engle Family, our hearts go out to you as we ponder Rick's untimely death. You don't know us; but we knew Rick as the friendly and extremely competent master plumber of the house we built in 2007. We last saw him in the Spring of this year when he came to fix a leak. We had no idea that he might have been ill at that time. We remarked that he appeared to have lost some weight. He never mentioned the reason why; still the same pleasant personality as always. Our condolences to you and a prayer for your acceptance of this sorrow, knowing that Rick shares in that Godhead to which he so effectively witnessed in this world.

To the Engle Family,
I grew up with Ricky I lived behind his house on Hansford lane. I had wonderful times playing football and Baseball with Ricky and his brothers. I remember going to his house waiting for the school bus in morning . His mom always allowed me in his house on cold morning with open arms. God Bless your Family and Ricky will always in my prayers.
