Dear Jan,I've reflected over the last week what working with Dick over the last 30 years has meant to me. A common phrase in the business world is "Every one is replaceable" and that may be true of ordinary men, however Dick was not an ordinary man. He was a gentle, kind man, he lived his life with integrity, devotion to his family,to the company and to the people he worked with in the highest order. With out question, one of the finest people that I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with.
Dick, I will miss you my friend.
Jan, I wish for you, Rick and Valarie, peace, love and long life.I thank you for sharing Dick with us.

Jan,I hadn't thought to look on-line for the arrangements. I am sorry, but I just can not make the trip at this time. You will be hearing from me soon.
Please know that you and the family are in our prayers. I know Dick will be missed by many people. As many have expressed, I too, loved to see you dance together.
May God give you the grace and stamina you will be needing over the next weeks, but mostly for right now. Just don't forget to lean heavily upon your faith, family, & friends.
Love you cousin,

Though I just started working with Richard, he touched me for sure. I was riding my bike past the forklift that he used to ride daily and God talked to me and said go and see him in the hospital, I stopped what I was doing and I did. It was a pleasure to work with him and he will truly be missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
