Robert JACOBS Obituary

HAMPTON - Robert "Carolina Bob" Jacobs, 72, passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010.
Born in Bozeman, Mont., he had been a resident of Hampton since the 80's. Bob served with the Army National Guard. He was well known for his love of wood working. He was also known for his talent for singing karaoke with a stage name of "Carolina Bob." He was a member of the American Legion Post 25 and the Hampton Moose Lodge No. 1119,
Surviving are his friend, Tunisia Smith of Hampton; sister, Clara Belander of Shelton, Wash.; brother, Richard Jacobs of Tacoma, Wash.; many karaoke friends and his dog, bandit.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the RAI Dialysis Center, for their help and compassion at the time.
A time of celebration will be at the American Legion Post 25, at a later date. Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr., in Hampton, 757-825-8070. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
