Ron Komornik was MAJ Komornik when I knew him as Battalion XO of 3/71 ADA in Kornwestheim, WG. As a 1LT Battalion Transportation Officer, we had some interesting conversations. He was a good hard-nosed officer. My condolences to his family.

I only knew Ron becuase he lived at the lake next to my grand parents and I can't talk enough about what a great person he was and is. I never met anyone that enjoyed life and his family as much as Ron. Heaven is truly getting a great person and I know he will be missed but never forgotten. Hope the cat fishing is nice up there Ron!
Condolences go out to all the Komornik's and friend of Ron.

And that pontoon boat at Lake Gaston was the best! My thoughts and prayers are with you, your Mom, Mary, Dave, Carolyn, and Ron. I wish you all the best...Wayne

We remember when we first met, on the ship on our way to Europe. Mary was a baby and we asked if we could take her while you ate dinner. I think you thought we would toss her overboard. We have been fast friends ever since. He had a wonderful life. That is what it is all about. Love Max and Jo.
