Rose COOPER Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Mrs. Rose L. Cooper of Madison Ave., Newport News, died Dec. 31, 2009 at Riverside Regional Hospital.
She is survived by seven children; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple, 3100 Butternut Drive, Hampton, VA. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. I will miss Nancy so much, especialy our trips to the wonans club and keeping up with each other by phone and sharing our crafts. I took her a little Bambi Dear one night because she need something to cuddle, it did my heart good to see Caitlyn bring it to the funeral with her.
