Sandra, Mrs. Holsten (Liddybet), Kelly, Bruce, and the entire Holsten family,
Please accept our condolences with the passing of Roy. I hope that you can find solace - and a smile - in knowing that I can still recall the days when Kelly and I were wreaking havoc on Coker Drive, and Roy would walk through the door and set us straight with his music, wit, and humor.
Your Friend,
Kelton and the entire Durham family

I think Roy lived more in 59 years than many of us do in our own lifetime. Many thoughts and remembrances of Roy are being shared by his Chapel Hill classmates as we contemplate his passing. He was much admired and much loved in the years that we spent with him.

I knew Roy in childhood and he showed all those wonderful qualities when he was very young. My memories are strong and the world is better because he was here.

My thoughts & prayers are with you today & always. I only met Roy once, but I could tell you two were meant for each other. I knew you had found your sole mate. Even though you have lost him, he will always be with you - in your heart & your memory.
