Ruth DILLON Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Ruth Jean Dillon, born in New York City on June 15, 1927, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 23, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willian T. Dillon in 1998; and son, William S. Dillon in 1973.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ann Rush and son-in-law, Richard C. Rush of Burke, Va.; grandsons, Richard C. Rush Jr., his wife, Layla Beth of Manassas, Va., and William D. Rush of Charlotte, N.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Williamsburg resident since 1993, she lived at Williamsburg Landing since 2003 where she was active in various committees there and in the Williamsburg Women's Club.
A memorial mass at St. Bede's Catholic Church will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, followed by interment at Williamsburg Memorial Park. The family will be available from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg.
