It has been a while since Scott passed, but I still think of him often. He was my best friend in High School and the experiences we shared were very special.

Scott was my dear friend in High School and my fraternity big brother in college. He provided me with such wisdom over my life. I think about him often and still tell stories about "Bear". It is hard to believe that he has been gone for so long - seems like only yesterday I stopped in to see him on one of my TDY trips.

Bear, miss you from a distance. I remember the 4 am call when I worked at Florida Tech and you asked what I was doing in the office and I said what are you doing calling me at this time! Or, the photo you sent while deployed overseas sitting in front of a huge meal smiling like only you could. Bear, you were the best and thanks for the many memories.

Dear Linda and Family,
I was saddened to hear the news of Scott's passing. Words fail me at times like this. I was glad over the years that Scott and I kept in touch and although we saw each other only infrequently, each visit was a treat for me. Scott had one of the best brains of our generation and we were lucky to rub shoulders with him from time to time. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that you are in our thoughts.

Mrs Bergeron and Family,
I served with Scott in 2AD at Ft Hood in my first Army and Transportation Corps assignment. Over the years I only saw him infrequently but he always had a kind word and good laugh with his bigger than life personality. Please accept my deepest condolences - he will be missed.

Dear Linda,

I just learned of Scott's passing today on Sam Chappell's email. Scott was a classmate in ROTC at USM. I was class of '72. Scott was truly one of the "good guys". I remember the good times getting ready for cadet events with Scott. Margp and I wish for the Peace of God to be with you at this time.

Dear Linda and family,
I heard of Scott's passing this morning... Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Scott was a great American and soldier for sure. He was very dedicated to mission success and made sure everyone had fun in the pursuit of excellence. Scott and I became good friends during our years serving in the Army
Transportation Corps during tours at Ft. Eustis. Also, we worked together during his years as a contractor. The last time we were together was with LMR. Scott was a BB brother that would always put a smile on your face with his quick wit and humor. May God rest his sole and put his arms around the Bergeron family during these difficult times.

Dear Linda - I just yesterday learned of Scott's passing and was devastated to learn of it. As you may recall, like Mike Mannion, we were all students together in TOAC in 77-78. I think my fondest memory of Scott is when TOAC played the Quartermaster School in the annual football Logistics Bowl." Scott was the mainstay of both the offensive and defensive lines and literally dominated the field. I can't remember the exact score, but it was on the magnitude of 64 to 7 or something like that. Scott was, well, in a word, magnificent that day. I never saw a man so "fired-up." It seems like yesterday. Besides being a superb athlete, Scott was an incredible officer, leader, and professional and I had the good fortune to bump into Scott every so often at professional or industrial events. He never lost that incredible sense of humor and "hail fellow well-met" attitude that attracted everyone to his side. A part of all of us who knew and loved him also died when he left us. Andree and I and the girls send our love and prayers. I'll try to be there at Arlington when Scott goes to his final rest. God Bless Always,

Jerry Moore

Linda,

No words can change the fact that Scott is gone. He was a good friend and a good man and the world is a poorer place without him. I am just so happy I had a chance to have dinner with you and him recently. Hope Heaven lets him continue to make "frog houses." If I can help in anyway please contact me.

I am just so happy that I recently had opportunity to have dinner with you and Scott and renew our friendship from high school, college and the Army. He was a good man and a good friend and the world is poorer place without him. I hope that Heaven allows him to continue to make "frog houses." My prayers are with you and the family. Another of our 1969 graduates has left us. Scott, was always determined to be a leader, and that he became. ALTHOUGH I have not seen you since 1969, I remember what a nice person you were. My heart goes out to your family and their spouses and children.
May you RIP, Scott

Ms. Bergeron
I have never known a finer Officer and Friend whom I looked up too. I took great care to listen carefully when Mr. Bergeron would speak, his wisdom and counsel has touched the lives of us all. I still to this day use the logic that was bestowed upon me when I told Mr. Bergeron that I wanted to enlist in the Army. Mr. Bergeron's presence will be greatly missed.

Aunt Linda, Sean, Stuart,

You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I think the memory of Uncle Scott that is etched in my head is of the "Gigantic Snapping Turtles" in the backyard. This seemed to keep all of the kids on their best behavior when that statement came out of his mouth. I love you guys and if there is anything I can do for any of you please let me know.
