Stanley HECKMAN Obituary
He was a native of Allentown, Pa., and had been a resident of Williamsburg for eight years. In 1980, he retired from the U.S. Postal Service, as a mail carrier, after a 50 year career. During WW II, he served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines. From 2003 until 2008, he assisted customers as a bagger at Ukrops Grocery Store, in Williamsburg, where he was known as "Stan the Man."
Surviving members of his family include his wife of 68 years, Pauline Mae Heckman; daughter, Donna L. Toler and husband, Grady of Yorktown; grandchildren, Lori Leib and husband, Rick, Nick Collina and wife, Emily; great-grandchildren, Lynsey and Tyler Leib; sisters, Dorothy Miller, and Edith Gogle and husband, Alfred.
Funeral services will be held privately.

Dear Pauline & Donna & Family I am sorry to hear of Stan's death he
was a wonderful person I always enjoyed talking with him while he
and Pauline lived across the street at Monticello at Powhatan.
