Susan MURRAY Obituary

HAYES - Susan E. (Sayre) Murray, 73, of Hayes, Va., passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday, July 5, 2010.
Mrs. Murray relocated with her husband to Gloucester County, Va., in 1988. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, much adored grandmother and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Mrs. Murray was born on Jan. 31, 1937, in Clarksburg, W.Va., to the late Hazen and Marie Sayre. She graduated from Taylor Alderdice High School in 1954.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Charles W. Murray III; daughter, Lynne M. Murray of Beaver, Pa.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles W. Murray IV of Hayes, Va., and Gregg A. and Becky Murray; four grandchildren, Gregg Murray II, Kyle Murray, Cole Murray, and Kayla Murray of Spring Church, Pa.; a sister, Sharon Krakoff of Castle Shannon, Pa.; and three nephews, Randy Krakoff, Jeff Krakoff and David Krakoff.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two dear brothers-in-law, Joel Krakoff and Richard Murray.
There will be no viewing or service per her request. Arrangements are by Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, Va.
The family would like to extend thanks and special recognition to all the caring staff and personnel of Riverside Walter Reed Hospital, Sanders Rehabilitation, Home Health Care, Bay Aging and Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, for their dedication and tender care.

Please accept my sincere sympathy. I am so sorry for your loss. Sue and I became friends when I lived in Gloucester and owned The Village Clothes Tree. She was a neat lady and I feel blessed to have known her. May good memories comfort you. Sincerely,
