Angela, you and your family are in my prayers. I will truly miss Vanessa and the laughter and fun time we had together over the years. Even after moving away, we still kept in touch. I'd love to hear from you.

Angela, you and your family are all in my prayers. I was so sorry to hear of Vanessa's passing. I didn't know her, but I felt like I had after your hearing you speak of her so often. We spoke of our families often when we sat across from each other at NNPS. I'd love to hear from you. I think of you often.

To The Family, You have my deepest sympathy. Aunt Van was a giving person who loved life and lived it to her fullest. She fought a good long battle and God saw that she was getting weary. She is alright now in the Master's Hand. Be strong because that is what she wants you to do.

A great lady with a heart for all humanity.
Her faith was as strong as a lion and gentle as a lamb
She was the real positive spirit behind those who lived in Her nursing home for all these years.
She looked after my Mom when she was there.
She looked after all
A giant void everywhere will not be filled for decades to come. We may think so, but that is not the situation.
She fought and survived in a manner that is one of the most respected anyone could recognize.
Love to her and family

I am grateful to have met Vanessa, who wrote a section about her life for my father's book. She was brave and loving and honest. Where others saw affliction, she saw a calling.

Dear Moses Family,
May the love of those around you, help you through the days ahead.
The sorrow of the faithful is not that of permanent loss, but the tender sense of sadness that comes in saying good-bye for now to someone we love. May today's sorrow give way to the peace and comfort of God's love.

Her struggle is over. She is being comforted by the angels.

Dear Moses Family,
I met Vanessa at the great G. W. Carver High School. And from there our friendship grew. I met her Family and she met my Family and our friendship and love of family grew more. Then my family dynamics changed and Vanessa embraced my husband and children as a part of her family. She was always concerned about how each family member was doing, what they were doing and where they were at that particular moment.
She is asleep now and she is at peace. Keep the warm memories alive in your heart as we will. My the Lord continue to watch over you and bless you.
