My Dearest Maa-Moo,
My heart is truly saddened today with the news of Grandma's passing. She was a wonderful, loving, warm, compassionate woman. My girls and I loved her very much. It is unfortunate that due to circumstance, we did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to her. She will be truly missed. My most sincere sympathies are passed along to you and your family. We miss you terribly and love you so very much.

Karen - Please know we have been thinking about you guys this week. Today's funeral was a great tribute to a wonderful lady. We felt privileged sitting in "her" section under the balcony and even imagined her sitting there with her perpetual smile. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the grandsons pay tribute to her on behalf of the family today. They did a very nice job. Listening to them made it clear that your Mom set quite a high standard for all grandmas everywhere! And thanks for bringing Psalm 34 to our attention. Your personalized version was especially meaningful. Heaven certainly has grown richer this year with the addition of Violet Simmons and Don Strayer! Love to you, Jack and your wonderful family.

Dear Precious Ones,
Heaven is truly richer today that your precious loved one has arrived. Violet was a beautiful lady.
I have many fond memories of serving with her through the years. At all other times of communication...what a blessing as well.
And, oh how blessed you are, left with the assurance heaven is now her home, and you will see her again one day.
Know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Love to each of you.

Dear Family,
Oh my goodness, our relatives will be rejoicing up in heaven receiving our beloved Aunt Violet. Words can't express how much her love and caring has meant to me and my siblings all our lives. The highlight of our summers growing up was to come to "Brother and Violet's " house to see all of our relatives and cousins after driving 19 hours straight from Nashville. What adventures we had. Even as adults, going to Aunt Violet's looking at all those wonderful photo albums of our families brought such warm loving feelings. She was an amazing angel on this earth who touched so many of our lives and we are truly blessed to have been part of her family. I hope all of those wonderful memories with Aunt Violet will help heal all of our hearts and sustain us through our loss. Much love, Candy
