Virgie CHRISTIAN Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Virgie Richardson Christian 84, died peacefully at her home on Oct. 11, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Christian.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Rudolph Christian; two daughters, Caryl Christian and Donna Christian Tucker (Wilson); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at her home church, St. Stephens Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Va., at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, and a second service at Cooke Brothers Funeral Chapel in Newport News, Va., at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30.

I worked with Virgie at Ft Eustis with the Red Cross. She was a very sweet person and will be missed by many. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
