Virginia BUZZY Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - On Aug.11, 2010, Virginia G. Buzzy peacefully left her home in Williamsburg to be with the Lord, after 99 years of life spent loving and caring for her family.
She will be remembered and deeply missed by her family and dear friends as we celebrate her life that began Dec. 21, 1910, in Norfolk, Va. She married on June 29, 1927, in Chincoteague, Va., and lived in Norfolk, Va., for many years, later moving to Edenton, N.C., until moving to Williamsburg, Va., to be with her daughter and family in 1985.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Buzzy Sr.; her parents, John and Minnie Gibbs; her sisters, Annie and Gladys; and her brother, Leonard.
She is survived by her four children, George L Buzzy Jr. of Fairfax, Va., Steven G. Buzzy of Bradenton, Fla., Virginia Anne Lee Webb of Accomack County, Va., and Joan B. Amory of Williamsburg, Va. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
