We are so sorry for your loss.
We believe that Bill Brockett was the driver of the Coast Guard boat that took my father & mother-in- law, my husband and me, and our two small daughthers out on the York River as a "free-bee" during one Coast Guard Day Picnics...probably in the early-mid '80s. My mother-in-law always remembered "Chief Brockett"...... He was very nice to her, and she loved the boat ride. Shew is 85 now and basically blind.
My husband and I share your sorrow......as will my mother-in-law when we tell her.
God Bless your family. I know God will keep "Chief Brockett" in his care.
Sincerely
Mike Daniel

Joan, we're so sorry to hear about Bill. He was a good man, a good friend and neighbor. Vida, Savannah and I wish we could have been there for you during this difficult time. I'll keep found memories of Bill as he always made me chuckle during Derby Day and our "yard" conversations.

Aunt Joan, Gunnar, Keith, Tanya and family - Jim and I are very sorry to learn of the passing of Uncle Bill. We have many fond memories of our trip to Yorktown, including visits to Busch Garden and Jamestown. Aunt Joan - you're still the champion at watermelon seed spitting. Hit any squirrels lately? One thing that Uncle Bill said during that visit has stayed with me. After a brief argument with Aunt Joan, he turned to me and asked, "You know why we stay together, even though we grump alot . . . .Beacause we love each other! Truer words were never spoken. In our thoughts and prayers.

To Mrs. Brockett, Gunnar, and my best friend Keith of over 20 years.
I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
The little time I have had with Wilfrid...I always knew I was sitting, talking with a very intelligent, warm hearted, kind man with a great since of humor. I wish I had seen him more. I feel sad to lose him.
