Janie,
Please accept our deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts. Bill was a fine man and we will miss him. Always remember, God is always there to comfort you.
I remember meeting you and Bill right after you suffered a "fender-bender" with my newly-licensed daughter 5 years ago. She was so scared and you and Bill put her at ease and followed her home to make sure she was all right. We visited you on many occasions after that, but unfortunately because my husband suffered a stroke, we have not seen you recently.
You have been and will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Our Daddy, John Davis was in the war with Parrish. Our parents talked fondly about " Effie and Parrish" throughout our life. He will be missed.Even though our parents are gone, they taught us that the love of family and good friends never die. So I write this today in their memory and in your honor.
With much love,
Pam (Davis) Taylor, John and Virginia's Daughter

As the son of Charles Daugherty, I've always had fond memories of Mr. Parrish and his lovely wife. He was always smiling and pleasent to be around. For some reason I have always remembered the time we were invited to dinner at your home when we all lived in South Hampton. If I have such memories from the many short contacts with him then you all must have your hearts filled with so much laughter and love that will sustain you through these sad times. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in these sad times.
