I remember meeting you and Bill right after you suffered a "fender-bender" with my newly-licensed daughter 5 years ago. She was so scared and you and Bill put her at ease and followed her home to make sure she was all right. Our Daddy, John Davis was in the war with Parrish. Our parents talked fondly about " Effie and Parrish" throughout our life. With much love,
Pam (Davis) Taylor, John and Virginia's Daughter

For some reason I have always remembered the time we were invited to dinner at your home when we all lived in South Hampton. If I have such memories from the many short contacts with him then you all must have your hearts filled with so much laughter and love that will sustain you through these sad times. My thoughts and prayers go out to you...
