William COOPER Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - On Jan. 9, 2010, at Riverside Medical Center, Mr. William Edgar, 63, was called to his final resting place. He lived a full life.
William was born to the late Bertha and Alfred Cooper.
He is preceded in death by both parents, sisters, Angelique Clark and Phyllis Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories his only son, Tony C. Dozier and a daughter-in-law, Angelina Dozier both of Harrisburg, Pa. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; his four brothers, Alfred and Curtis Cooper, both of Hampton, Va., Michael Cooper of Fayetteville, N.C., Charles Cooper of Richmond, Va.; and sisters, Sonia Cooper, Martha Cooper, and Karen McNair all of Hampton, Va. He also leaves behind his companion, Diane Selena Coleman; a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family. We loved him, but God loved him more.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at M. E. Fisher Funeral Home Chapel at 2PM. 2117 Madison Ave. Newport News, VA 23607.
