So sorry to hear of Captain Maurice's passing. I have such fond memories when I think of him and all the dredge boats that were in Davis Creek during dredge season. The Linda Carol, Peggy, Delvin K and Thomas E. What a piece of history that all of us have been able to share! Captain Maurice was always there running the dock with a smiling face and saying good morning "partner". What made it even more enjoyable was when the dredgers would come to the dock and they had caught their limit. They were the days with wonderful memories - Davis Creek was very much alive during that time. I know all of you will treasure the history and the legacy that Captain Maurice leaves behind as I do. I pray that God will bring you peace in the days ahead. God is such a wonderful comforter and I know he will be there for all of you.
Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers,
