Kevin Solomon will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. We were in school tohether since middle school and graduated in 1980 from Mecnhvlie High. I never knew of anyone that didn't have something good to say about him. God has recieved an Angel.

Solomon family, we are sorry for your loss.Kelvin was a good brother and our relationship goes all the way back to the days at Magruder gym. I am blessed to hear of his impact on the lives of kids and others. The kids especially because that love,committment, and care was extended to all the guys in the neighborhood from Mr.Howard as they came to Magruder daily. That foundation has been duplicated in the life of Kevin Soloman towards others. My prayer is for strenght for the Solomon family and those who have been touched by Kelvin to continue on the example that he displayed before you. I am so sad right now. This brother and I coached two of the nations best jumpers, for opposing teams. We battled all over the country. And it was friendly competition between the coaches and the athletes. I was sure we would be doing this at least until these kids graduate High School. Although it was probably a draw, he was the better coach. He taught me alot. RIP Sol.

He was a great coach, and mentor to many children in the community. His dedication will always be remembered. RIP Coach Solomon.

I will never forget such a nice friend even all the way back to at least 4th grade at magruder elementary if not further back onto Carver then Menchville he was always "atheletic" and a leader early on in life as a peer. I will miss you even though tough to accept my God be with the family .
