Its hard to think of Bart and not smile!! Bart had a sense of humor like no other. He was one of the first friends I had when I moved to Gloucester when I was 11 years old. He stopped by house a couple of months ago and though we had not seen each other much in recent years, we picked up right where we left off. He remembered storied of our childhood that I had forgotten, he had me rolling!! Sandra and family please find peace in knowing that Bart is in a better place and is making heaven a funnier place to be!!

Words can not adequately describe the loss I feel for Bart and the pain his family is going through. Bart was the funniest, sweetest boy I knew in middle school. I pray that his dear children and parents somehow find comfort knowing that he is not in pain, living a better life in heaven. Praying and thinking of you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Bart's passing. It is difficult to pull up a memory from my childhood that him and my brother, Steve, are not a part of. Riding our bikes in the neighborhood (still have the scars :) ), crabbing in the York River, bugging Ms. Jarvis to steam them for us, exploring the woods, or just hanging out. Memories Steve and I will always cherish.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
