I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Buxton at Riverside Surgery Center-Warwick for many years. We shared many good times there, as he worked so professionally and rarely missed the conversations taking place around him. He had a good heart and talked often of his love for his family and of his work. A true Gentleman and he will be missed. Sending warm thoughts and prayers to his family.

Bucky was an excellent and compassionate physician. I truly enjoyed our years of working together. He was always looking to improve the care of his patients.

Sending prayers with him and to all his family and friends. He was our family doctor since 1976. He was always kind and made sure that we felt at ease with him when he took care of my mother, my sister and brothers as well as myself.I still go to where his office was because of the trust he gave to all of us when we had problems. Take care and know that we were given more than just a doctor we also were given a friend.

It saddens my heart to hear that dr. Buxton has passed. He was always so nice and always had a smile on his face. I had the pleasure of working for him for three years up until he retired and remember he gave us a catered luncheon. He will truly be missed. God bless your family in this time.

I had the great pleasure of working with Dr. Buxton at Riverside GI lab and Peninsula Gastroenterology. As a physician, he truly made a difference in countless patients' lives! Not a day went by that he wasn't kind or didn't have a smile on his face. He always went out of his way to acknowledge the staffs' birthdays. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten! You will always live in our hearts with memories. Rest in Peace Dr Buxton, you are in God's arms now. Prayers for the family!

I thank Dr. Buxton for saving my life with his medical knowledge and abilities. I loved him dearly for his kindness and medical help and thank God for his talent and faith. God gained an angel of true mercy when He took Dr. Buxton home for restful peace.

I worked with Dr. BUXTON AT THE ENDOSCOPY SURGERY CENTER IN HIDENWOOD WHEN FIRST OPENED IN THE 90'S. IT WAS SUCH A PLEASURE TO HAVE WORKED WITH HIM, SUCH AN AWESOME MAN OF GOD, HE MADE ME SO COMFORTABLE TO HAVE WORKED WITH HIM, I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM. I worked with Dr. Buxton for many years at RRMC, Endoscopy Unit and for a short while at the office. He is one of the kindest, caring doctors I have know. He always made me laugh by telling us he was going to tee off his pager into the James River after retirement. He will truly be missed. Prayers to his family.

Dr Buxton was so nice to work for. He tought me many things about Endoscopy. He always had a smile on his face. He never forgot anyones birthday at the office. He will be missed. Glad I was able to see him before he passed and he still had that same smile on his face.

Dr. Buxton was a great doctor, Rotarian, and friend of the Arts. His pasting is our loss, yet it is Heaven's gain. The way he lived his life has inspired us. This is a sad time, I hope the good memories will ease the pain.
