God has no sorrow that heaven can not heal--look to God for strength & understanding. Be comforted in your memories and your love of Kirstin. Though your family is sad--Treasure all that you have, shed a tear if you must, it is only natural and smile often when you are reminded of the wonderful child she was. I do not know your family but i am told she ws the best of students at NCHS and a delight to be around. Take care of each other.

Kirstin was a real sweetie pie. I can picture her sitting front and center in my 7th grade classroom in Stuarts Draft. She was my go to girl for a big smile and a funny remark that would just make my day. :)
I was thrilled when she told me she was moving back to Nelson. I had an important job for her......to look after Grace as she entered the middle school...little did I know how close her and Grace would become in Marching Band. Kirstin's zest for life spanned across both sides of Afton Mountain. I will miss her dearly and am proud to have called her my student and my friend. Peace be with you...Love Mrs. Philllips
