To Dr. Aheart's Family,

Please accept my sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy upon the passing on of Dr. Aheart. Just this morning we were discussing sending him an annual Christmas card.

Dr. Aheart served as my supervisor during my appointment as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at West Virginia State University. He was a giant of a person and a mathematician. He was truly a caring and dedicated leader who mentored faculty, staff, and students. We was cherished my all of us and he also cherished West Virginia State University. He will be missed but leaves a wonderful legacy for others behind him in the field of mathematics to emulate.
Sincerely,
Donald Smith & Family
