Barbara Ann Lamb

Barbara Ann Lamb, infant daughter of Bertha and the late Earl Lamb went to be with the Lord on August 19, 1962, in Linden, New Jersey.

She was born August 17, 1962.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grover and Mary Turner and Ruben and Fannie Lamb; four uncles, Delmas Lamb, and James, Lawrence, and Grover Turner; and one aunt, Lila Turner Shifflett.

Survivors include her mother, Bertha Lamb of Charlottesville; two brothers, Earl Edward Lamb Jr. and his family of Standardsville and Steavon Michael Lamb and his family of Charlottesville; one sister, Judith Gail Mawyer and her family of Ivy; one uncle, Thomas Lamb of Richmond; two aunts, Thelma Thomas and her family of Scottsville, and Thelma Orizi and her family of Richmond; and a number of cousins and other family members.

The family wishes to thank all of the doctors and nurses of Elizabeth General Hospital for all of their help, love and kindness.

A funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville. Burial will follow at Scottsville Cemetery.
