We were so very sorry to learn of the death of your Dad. Mac was a great educator and did a lot for our schools here in Botetourt. Steve and I were fortunate to have your Mom and Dad as friends. God bless you all and remember he is now happy in heaven with your Mom and his savior.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you in your great loss! We appreciate all that your father did in the Charlottesville area in impacting the education of children and their lives.
So you would who I am, I worked with your mom at the Adventist Day Care and had the privilege of seeing the McClure children grow up in their younger years. You were all very special to your parents!
My deepest sympathy! Nadine Tornatore

Mr. McClure was my 7th. grade teacher at Broadus Wood School. He was a great guy and made learning fun. He really made a lasting impression on me and I've never forgotten him and the nice person that he was. I'll always remember his love of teaching and his love for his students.

Words cannot fully express how much aloha and appreciation I have for Mac and Traute. They befriended me way back in 1973 when I came out to Charlottesville from Hawaii to teach for our SDA one-room church school. Mac was my board chair and Traute the daycare director. They took me in as one their own and guided me with solid advice and lots of love. May all of you be comforted by pleasant memories of Mac's love and care. He was a very wise and special man. Clarence, Karen, and Stephen, you were truly blest with extraordinary parents. Clifton, thanks for your help during my divorce. The McClure clan will always be special in my heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this time. Dr. McClure hired me in 1993 to teach at Lord Botetourt High School, and I always enjoyed his friendly demeanor and good sense of humor. He will definitely be missed.

My prayers and sympathy go out to the McClure family. I was teacher, coach and athletic director in the Albemarle County School System when Dr. McClure was Supt. He was very supportive of athletics and has the credit of adding female sports equable to the male sports. May God Bless him and his family and friends. Sincerely, Brenda Langdon (Ch'ville, Va.)
