My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. I will always cherish the memory of having dinner with you mother and father during one of their visits to New Orleans.

January 10, 2011

Your mom and dad were so gentle and hospitable to me during our several visits together here in New Orleans and in their retreat in Brevard. I will appreciate always your mom giving up her front seat in the car to me during our tour of the area: this flatland swamp girl's equilibrium was thrown off course in the winding mountains! I loved being in your parents' company. They comforted me so often when I wanted to support them. I was blessed to have met all of you. Love and God's embrace

Alanna, I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady and so dear to my mom (Lois Eason) at Dominion Village. What a joy that they were reunited as roommates at Consulate. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mamere was a wonderful grandmother. As a student at William and Mary my friends and I benefitted from her wonderful cooking and hospitality! She will be missed!
