Earl Hill Obituary
Earl Dean Hill, 60, formerly of Crozet, Virginia, died on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at home in Antioch, California.
Earl was born in Charlottesville, to the late Willie Eugene Davis on August 22, 1950.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Dean Hill of Crozet, Virginia; brothers, Roy Hill of Washington, D.C., Robert Hill and his wife, Vicky, of Salem, Virginia, Robert Barbour and his wife, Marcelline, of Hyattsville, Maryland, and Norman Goins Sr. and his wife, Deloris, of Charlottesville, Virginia; sisters, Alice and Carol Hill of Crozet and Jennie Danner of Charlottesville, Virginia.
He is also survived by his wife, Lena O'Neal; and her daughter, Carolena and her husband, Ricardo, and their children, Oscar Jr. and Destiny of Antioch, California; a brother-in-law, James Screymour and his wife, Saroj; and a niece, Christina and her husband, Wayne.
A viewing will be held from 1:30 until 3 p.m. with a memorial service following 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Higgins Funeral Home and Chapel in Antioch, California.
A second memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Victory Hill Church of God in Crozet, Virginia, with interment to follow at Piedmont Baptist Church cemetery.

Aunty your best friend and your soulmate has left and I cannot even begin to comprehend the despair and hopelesness you feel right now. Remember all the things he taught you and practise them. Your strength may falter but your family and friends love you so very dearly and we are giving your all our strength at this time. You will never be alone.

Aunty Lena,
You have just lost your soulmate and your best friend and I cannot even begin to comprehend the pain that comes with that. What I do know for certain is that right now, when your strength is faltering, all our strengths together will hold you up. This is not something that anyone ever gets over, but through the support of your friends and family you learn to start living again and living in a new way. You have to carry forth all the things he taught you and in doing that, he will live on through you. This is how we keep them alive, through us.
Earl had an uncanny ability to relate to various types of people. His kind heart and love for animals supasses no other.
Earl, we love you so very much and we know that we will see you one day.
