Edythe M. Banko
Edythe M. Banko, 56, of Charlottesville, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010.
She was born on July 28, 1954, in Evansville, Indiana.
Edythe is survived by her loving husband of ten years, Richard Banko of Charlottesville; mother, Barbra Prow of Evansville, Indiana; father and stepmother, Raymond and Margaret Stone of Cadiz, Kentucky; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Richard Hull and their son, Parker, of Richmond, Virginia; mother-in-law, Delphine Banko; and brother-in-law, Robert Banko.
The smile and warmth in her eyes will live in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Donor Service, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010, at St. Thomas Aquinas with her Pastor Scott Knight officiating. A reception will follow the service.
